The letter for parents/guardians Montessori Toddler School
Dear Parents,
The situation we are experiencing is challenging for everyone. Please remember that your child may have concerns regarding the present situation. If he or she has any questions concerning the virus, this is of special importance to answer. The answers should be given in a calm manner, brief and realistic. Remind your child of all the ways to take care of their personal hygiene (frequent hand washing, coughing or sneezing in the elbow, keeping a safe distance from others). Please remember that if we want our children to feel safe, we need to provide a calm environment.
In order to support you at home, we have prepared a special programme including Montessori friendly activities which will keep your child active and working all day. You will be provided with special plans covering the main areas: Practical life, Sensorial, Math, Language and Art. Additionally, we will also send you a list of things to do with your toddler and/or Casa student.
I am convinced you will find them useful and interesting and your children will be more than happy to embrace challenges suggested by our wonderful Teachers.
Also, remember that the whole Casa dei Bambini and Toddler Staff are here and ready to support you in providing you with any online e-learning planning you need in maintaining the continuity of lessons important for education and well-being of your child. Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail us on the daily basis Monday to Friday between 7.45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Everyone has a role in staying healthy. According to WHO we need to apply “All of Community” approach which is focused on slowing the transmission of COVID-19 and reducing illness and death, while minimizing social and economic impact. Thus, please STAY AT HOME and take due care under these circumstances.
